Nestled between John’s Lake and Lake Apopka, many homes sit on the shores of these lakes with larger estates, beautiful waterfront homes and a laid-back lifestyle. This diverse and thriving community has a rich history of railroads and agriculture and was once the shipping point on Lake Apopka for vegetables and oranges. Today, nearly 130 acres of wetlands and opulence are secured and currently being restored and preserved by the city.
